Our response to Ofsted's possible inspection reforms8 September 2008—Teacher Support Network and sister-organisation Worklife Support recently submitted a joint response to a consultation run by Ofsted on possible inspection reforms in maintained schools. New online coaching services for teachers launched3 September 2008—Our coaching process helps solve problems in a manner that is challenging but non-judgemental, caring but professional and, most of all, effective; developing the confidence to take whatever action is necessary. More teachers turn to Support Network for help8 August 2008—More teachers and education professionals turned to the Teacher Support Network Group for assistance between April and June than during the same time last year, the charity has reported. Quarterly Report Highlights7 August 2008—The total number of interactions handled across all charities between April and June 2008 was 26,569. This is compared to 22,817 interactions between April and June 2007 and 23,032 in the last quarter. InfoCentre factsheets made up the largest number of interactions (82 per cent) while telephone calls represented 16 per cent. Online Coaching, although in use more than last quarter, still accounted for 2 per cent of all interactions. |
