About Teacher Support Scotland

The Teacher Support Scotland was formed in 2001. It is now a unique charity dedicated to providing vital support to qualified teachers in Scotland. TSS is part of Teacher Support Network, first formed in 1877. Throughout the UK, TSN uses its expertise to improve the personal wellbeing and effectiveness of teachers from training to post retirement and in some cases the whole school workforce.

For members of the press

The Press Office at Teacher Support Scotland can provide journalists with Quotations, reaction and opinion on a broad-range of educational subjects as well as Feature articles, opinion pieces and advice for teachers, Data and survey results on issues effecting teachers, Anonymous case studies and contacts to teachers willing to speak on or off the record about various issues.

About our services

We have a range of services available to suit your needs: Our InfoCentres with over 1000 factsheets covering a wide range of issues including money advice, how to cope with bereavement, mental illness, diet and nutrition and how to manage stress. Our Online Coaching service is available to you to ask one question at a time, or you can register to become a member.
